Background
Before Dawn Supply Co. is a women’s activewear brand that I launched with my co-founder, Lillian Garlick. Born from a month-long sailing trip where neither of us had the clothes we needed, we set out on a mission to create apparel and gear that transition seamlessly between land and water.
The Horizon Bodysuit
Quick dry, recycled fabric blends with soft, breathable comfort in this all-in-one bodysuit designed to move freely from land to water. Wear it to yoga, hit the trails, or find the perfect wave.
Kickstarter Launch
After spending one year prototyping, refining, and testing the Horizon Bodysuit, we turned to Kickstarter to get support for our first small-batch production run. We raised over $13,000 to bring the Horizon Bodysuit to life and were featured in Field Mag and The Inertia.
Ecommerce
We wanted our website to be more than a product catalog, so we built a home online that tells our story, shows off the Horizon Bodysuit’s ability to move from land to water, and aligns with our brand feel.
Brand
Before Dawn was inspired by the feeling of a dawn-patrol paddle-out. It speaks to the spirit of adventure, and the quiet freedom and possibility before the rest of the world wakes up.
